Some ancestors, (perhaps one of yours) were sun-worshipers.
The worshiping continues to this day in various forms and transformations.
In the space between the real and the abstract, there may be room for debate.

Basically the sun is a campfire.
Which would make the earth a park.
To treat it otherwise, is to renounce your nativity.
For it is only the alien, that at heart is a visitor.
